Friends of Anthropology Undergraduate Research Fund

Thanks to the generous donations from alumni, the Department of Anthropology is able to establish an endowment to fund up to three undergraduate research awards each academic year. The grants may be used for either research or travel and are limited to a maximum of $350.

Qualifications:

To qualify, the applicant must be an undergraduate major in anthropology, be enrolled the quarter of the award, and have the endorsement of their faculty advisor.

Due Dates:

Due Dates for the proposals are as follows:

  • November 30 for Winter Quarter award
  • February 28 for Spring Quarter award
  • May 31 for Summer or Fall Quarter Award

Successful applicants will be notified by the end of the quarter that the proposals are due. Proposal forms are available here.
