Andrew Lucchesi specializes in writing curriculum design, disability studies, and comics and graphic literature and rhetoric. Their scholarly and political interests in disability justice motivate their work as a teacher and scholar. Their dissertation research examined the ways public higher education institutions responded to presence of disabled students throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. They are currently co-editing a book on disability and graphic literature (expected 2026).
