Vanessa Petroj, Ph.D. was born and raised in a culturally and ethnically Romanian village, Uzdin, in Serbia. Growing up bilingual has shaped her interest in languages. Much of Petroj’s research focuses on bilingualism and code-switching between Romanian-Serbian bilinguals from her hometown, Uzdin.
