Justice Delayed, Justice Still Fulfilled?
In this second Faculty Forum of the year, Professor Kendra Dupuy addresses the question of why war crimes tribunals are sometimes implemented long after a conflict ends. Transitional justice usually takes place right after a conflict ends to ease the transition from conflict to peace. Sometimes, however, justice is not served for many years after the conclusion of hostilities. Explaining the delayed establishment of the Liberian War and Economic Crimes Court, Dupuy ask is "Justice Delayed, Justice Still Fulfilled?"
Political Science faculty and students are invited to attend this presentation on Wednesday, February 5 at 4 pm in AH 421.
