Libations with a Linguist - Winter 2025

Faculty from Western’s Linguistics Department organize these community round-table discussions throughout the year.  These talks are free and open to the public of all ages.

Our next "Libations With a Linguist" event is scheduled for February 26 from 6-8 PM at Ponderosa located at 1225 Roeder Ave, Suite 101 in Bellingham.

Dr. Kristin Denham, Professor in Western’s Linguistics Department, will present "What do you know when you know a language? Revealing fan-f$*!ckin-tastic linguistic knowledge."
