Linguistics Internship Opportunity

Volunteer at the Whatcom Literacy Council


Successful applicants who have been approved as tutors through the Whatcom Literacy Council and completed the Linguistics Department independent study application can earn course credit (1-3 credits, depending on time commitment and independent study contract requirements, as determined by student and Linguistics Department Chair).


First, complete the application at the Whatcom Literacy Council


When you contact a WLC Program Coordinator to set up an interview, copy Kristin Denham (denham@wwu.edu) so that we know you have applied.

If you are approved as a tutor, complete the Linguistics Department independent study contract found in BH 418.
