Neuroscience Area Concentration

This concentration would be designed for students who are interested in applying their Linguistics Major to further understanding of language impairments in individuals with brain damage, or engaging in either language processing or theoretical linguistics research using cognitive neuroscience techniques. Students would be in a good position to pursue graduate studies in areas of Neurolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Cognitive Science, and Language Sciences.  Career opportunities might include: research, acoustical design, academia, and technical and/or scientific writing.
