COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP IN WASHINGTON STATE

Join us for a special screening of the documentary "Finding Common Ground: Collaborative Leadership in Washington State." This film tells the compelling story of diverse individuals overcoming differences to address some of the most complex conservation challenges in the Pacific Northwest. It highlights the journey from the "Fish Wars" of the 1960s and 70s to the landmark collaborations that followed, such as the Centennial Accord and the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan.

Panelists include Daryl Williams (The Tulalip Tribes), Kadi Bizyayeva (Stillaguamish Tribe), Kelli Linville (former Bellingham Mayor and Washington State Representative), and Michael Kern (UW, mediator, and documentary co-producer).

Co-hosted by The Sustainability Engagement Institute, Morse Leadership Initiative, and Western Washington University's Environmental Studies, Tribal Relations Office, and Urban and Environmental Planning & Policy.
