Classical Studies Videos

We invite you to visit Professor Engelsing's YouTube channel to view a handpicked selection of videos in Latin.

Mensa Latina - Latin Club

Mensa Latina, the Latin Table, meets every Monday from 4 - 5 p.m. in MH 123. We practice Latin through a variety of activities, including conversations, activities, games, projects, and lessons. Usually, the meetings are conducted entirely, or almost entirely, in Latin, but this can change based on the needs of the students. All students are welcome, as we can tailor the lessons to fit the desires of the group. Dr. Eduardo Engelsing and Dr. Miller Krause are the faculty advisors.

Nuntii Latini: Latin Webcast

Nuntii Latini, Latin News, is a weekly podcast recorded by the second year Latin students and Professor Miller Krause. We began January 26, 2017 and have continued every Thursday thereafter. Nuntii Latini, through Western Washington University, is the only Latin podcast in the United States and has already been shared by teachers and students all over the world, including those in Spain, French Guiana, as well as around the United States. This is one of our newest projects, but hopefully it continues for years to come.
