Direct Exchange Programs provide an affordable way for Western students to study abroad. Generally, students pay in-state tuition and mandatory fees through their WWU student account and tuition is waived at the host institution. Western has more than 30 direct exchange agreements for student mobility, including the University of Duisburg-Essen.
