Application Process

Apply for admission to Western Washington University (WWU), Post-baccalaureate Admissions

  • Priority fall application deadline is February 15th
  • Final fall application deadline is July 1st

Applications are accepted on a space-available basis after the priority deadline.

Admission Application

  1. Go to the Admissions Application and select Apply Now.
  2. Choose Create an Account and follow the instructions.
  3. Upon completion of your account setup, select Start New Application.
  4. In the Application Information section, under Student Type, select the radio button next to New Post-Bacc and check the box Post-Baccalaureate for Student Type

  5. For Application Term, select Fall.
  6. Under Campus, select Location Program. The SLHS Post-Bacc Program meets on the Bellingham campus but is coded as a Location Program in the system.

  7. For Program Selection/Academic Interest, select Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Location Site: Bellingham
  8. When asked if you have spoken to a SLHS program advisor, select “Yes” or reach out with your questions.

Application Checklist

Applications are considered complete, when each of the following has been satisfied:

  • Post-Bacc Location Program Admission Application form completed
  • $70 non-refundable application fee paid
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Resume uploaded
  • 3 professional references provided
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended requested
  • Application finalized by Signing and Reviewing (and clicking “Submit”)
