About

I am an instructor of English at Olympic College and Western Washington University. My research and teaching passions revolve around the intersection of writing technologies, writers and writing. At present, I'm doing a lot of pedagogical and research work on writing classroom policies and practices that engage artificial intelligence. I teach courses in technical communication, digital writing, user experience design and academic research writing.

When not teaching or researching, I spend time working as the Design Editor at Literacy in Composition Studies (http://licsjournal.org). In my role, I am responsible for maintenance of our open-access website. I also design and layout the digital and print versions of LiCS. As a contributing editor, I work with the editorial team to review and revise manuscripts toward publication. I am also an Associate Editor at the Working and Writing for Change Series at Parlor Press.
