History 499

History 499 Pre-registration

The History department has a pre-registration process for HIST 499, the capstone seminar, required for all History and History/Social Studies majors. The pre-registration process is from April 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024.

Please find the 2024-2025 HIST 499 Courses and their corresponding prerequisites below. Only a single prerequisite course (not all) is required to register for HIST 499. 

If you have 90 credits or more, you will receive an email with a link to the "499 Preregistration Survey." The survey must be submitted by April 30th.
