M.A. in European Journalism at Cardiff University, Wales; B.S./B.A. in Newspaper Journalism and International Relations at Syracuse University
Before relocating to Vancouver, British Columbia, Catherine has worked as a business writer and editor in New York, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Canada, Zurich, Switzerland, Copenhagen, Denmark and Oslo, Norway.
She has been published in CAIFU magazine, the South China Morning Post, China Daily USA, National Geographic Traveler China, The Business Times of Singapore, Orlando Sentinel, and the Voice of America. Currently, she writes for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) about global HR news from Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Catherine taught news writing and journalism at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. She also currently teaches courses in news writing, media and communication studies, as well as mentors students with communications internships online at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
