Before relocating to Vancouver, British Columbia, Catherine has worked as a business writer and editor in New York, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Canada, Zurich, Switzerland, Copenhagen, Denmark and Oslo, Norway.
She has been published in CAIFU magazine, the South China Morning Post, China Daily USA, National Geographic Traveler China, The Business Times of Singapore, Orlando Sentinel, Salish Current, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She has also provided editorial services to Fast Company, Forbes.com, the University of California and the Voice of America.
Catherine taught news writing and journalism at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. She also currently teaches courses in news writing, media and communication studies, as well as mentors students with communications internships online at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
