Scholarship Centralization
- Scholarships are moving to the WWU Scholarship Portal Spring 2025.
- The WWU Scholarship Portal makes applying for scholarships simpler and easier for students.
- Students only need to complete one scholarship application and they will be automatically matched to the scholarships they qualify for, including East Asian Studies program scholarships.
- Eligibility – All students (undergraduate, graduate, and beyond) can apply.
- Students, please use the WWU Scholarship Portal to submit your applications.
East Asian Studies Scholarship Details
Sarah Ann Wirth Memorial Scholarship
The Sarah Ann Wirth Memorial Scholarship is an annual endowed scholarship awarded to an East Asian Studies major or a History major with a minor in East Asian Studies.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be currently enrolled at WWU and plan to study full-time (minimum 12 credits) at least one quarter of the 2025/26 academic year
- Declared major in East Asian Studies or History with a minor in East Asian Studies
- Junior or senior status fall quarter of awarding year
- Minimum 3.00 grade point average, both cumulative and in the major
East Asian Studies Scholarship
The East Asian Studies Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to an East Asian Studies Major.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be currently enrolled at WWU and plan to study full-time (minimum 12 credits) at least one quarter of the 2025/26 academic year
- Declared major in East Asian Studies
- Junior or senior status fall quarter of awarding year
