The Minor in the Study of Religion provides scholarly, critical, nonsectarian study of religions. Students study religious beliefs, practices, identities and organizations, and how they have influenced and been influenced by other aspects of society and culture.

The Minor in Digital Humanities (DH) involves a combination of computing and humanities research. Through the design and use of computational tools and methods, digital humanities is characterized by an engagement with collaborative and interdisciplinary modes of knowledge production, scholarship, publishing, and teaching.

- Humanities Electives (8-10 credits). Complete two Humanities courses under advisement. One must have a HUMA prefix. One must be upper division.
- HUMA 498 (3 credits). Under advisement, students will complete a capstone Digital Humanities research project in HUMA 498. To register for HUMA 498, students must complete a contract in the Global Humanities and Religions Department to identify a faculty supervisor and research topic.

The minor in South and Southeast Asian Studies builds significant knowledge of the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia through the study of culture, religion, history, literature, gender, art, film, and other disciplinary approaches.
