Scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year have been awarded.

The Communication Studies Department will accept scholarships applications for the 2019-20 academic year in the spring quarter of 2019. Information about each scholarship and the awarding criteria can be viewed by selecting the links below.

There is one Scholarship Application for applying to the following Communication Studies scholarships: Abigail Tandy Maye Stout Memorial Scholarship; Anna Eblen Scholarship; George Ruggles Scholarship; Sene and Louella Carlile Scholarship; and the Departmental Tuition Waiver Scholarship*.

There is a separate application for the #WeAreWWU Scholarship.

*Departmental Tuition Waiver Scholarships are determined annually by the state of Washington. Students selected for tuition waivers must be enrolled full-time, undergraduates, in a state-supported program and be of superior academic ability.  Full-time status requires enrollment in 12 credits or more per quarter.  Tuition waivers are merit awards.  Financial need is not used as criterion for selection. Tuition waivers are restricted to state-supported tuition expenses and cannot be used for study abroad or extended education coursework.
