  • Reference Letters

Waitlist Process

  • Accept status is offered to applicants on the waitlist as seats become available due to admit declines.
  • Applicants on the waitlist will be notified when the cohort is full.
  • Our waitlist is not ranked; therefore, we will not be able to field questions about individual chances for admission.

Financial Information for Accepted Students

As of the academic school year 2019-20, the CSD Department has 3 full-time (e.g. 20 hours per week, full tuition waiver) and 6 part-time (e.g. 10 hours per week, one-half tuition waiver ) teaching assistantships (TA) with hourly pay of $18.

Generally speaking, 1st year graduate students do not receive a TA for Fall quarter. They make application during Fall quarter and may be awarded Teaching Assistantships based on faculty need and student’s skills. We do not offer Teaching Assistantships as a component of our initial admittance offer.

If you qualify for work study funding, we do have limited opportunities to work with faculty in the department.  Your financial aid status will be determined by filling out the FAFSA.  For more information please contact the Financial Aid Department .  They have additional resources including a table of current Tuition and Fees Schedule

Scholarships

There are many scholarships available for both Undergraduate and Graduate students through the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department. There are also a number of external scholarship opportunities for students of these programs.
