Libations with a Linguist - Spring 2024

Faculty from Western’s Linguistics Department organize these community round-table discussions throughout the year.  These talks are free and open to the public of all ages.

Our next "Libations With a Linguist" event is scheduled for May 1, 2024 from 6-8 PM at Ponderosa located at 1225 Roeder Ave, Suite 101 in Bellingham.

Dr. McNeel Gordon Jantzen, a Professor in Western's Linguistics Department, will present "How COVID Killed My Convo: The Effects of the COVID Pandemic on Conversational Behaviors"
