Welcome to the Exercise Physiology Lab
Welcome to the Western Washington University Exercise Physiology Labs. You can find information in these pages about our Exercise Physiology Lab faculty, space, equipment, and graduate students. These labs are used for education and research activities within our undergraduate and graduate programs in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
The Exercise Physiology Laboratory (Carver Hall, room 306) is primarily used for instruction of lab activities associated with both our undergraduate and graduate kinesiology courses. This lab space also serves as the primary hub for both faculty and student research in exercise physiology. The Exercise Physiology Laboratory provides students with critical, hands-on experience with the same advanced equipment used by health and performance professionals. The lab is designed to be a high-impact learning environment where theory meets practice, directly preparing you for your future career. Many of the assessments and equipment available in this space are relevant to students pursuing careers as Health and Fitness professionals, Exercise physiologists, Cardiac Pulmonary Rehabilitation practitioners, Physical Therapists, and other health professions.
