MT Democratic Coordinated Campaign

Description

Big Sky Victory, the 2024 Montana Democratic Coordinated Campaign is growing our
Distributed Youth Leadership Program. This program aims to get young people involved in
politics through digital organizing in Montana and inspiring others to take action for Democratic
candidates up and down the ballot, including US Senate, local state legislative campaigns, and
so much more!
Distributed Youth Leaders will gain valuable organizing experience and professional
development and will play a critical role in the future of Montana. Young people in and out of
the state are encouraged to apply -- no prior organizing experience is necessary!

Position: Campaign Manager 

Organization: Washington House Democratic Caucus Campaign Committee (HDCC) 

Location: Dependent on legislative district in Washington state 

Salary: Depending on experience, salaries roughly range from $3,800-$4,830 per month and are determined by individual campaigns rather than by the HDCC.

About the Washington House Democratic Campaign Committee The House Democratic Campaign Committee (HDCC) was established in 1995 as a statewide organization to help Democratic incumbents and candidates win elections to the Washington State House of Representatives. Our mission is to provide grassroots, strategic, and monetary support to maintain and expand the House democratic majority. 

About The Position We are building a team of creative problem-solvers who will work to protect and grow the Democratic majority in the Washington House of Representatives. Campaign Managers will coordinate and oversee all aspects of the campaign, working with the candidate, campaign consultants, and the HDCC.

Bob Ferguson Gubernatorial Campaign

Position Summary: Friends of Bob Ferguson is seeking a select number of interns to work on his campaign. Interns will work on a variety of tasks, including in operations, communications, field, political, fundraising, and more. This is an exciting learning opportunity that is accepting applicants from all across the state. If you would like to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment, we encourage you to apply!

Dave Reichert for Governor Campaign

The Dave Reichert for Governor campaign is looking to bring on interns across the state to work directly with the campaign. Our campaign provides a unique opportunity for those looking to get into politics. We are a statewide campaign with one of our state’s preeminent politicians, a staff of well respected and experienced political staffers, and have multiple ways to gain experience with the campaign.

We are offering internships in multiple roles to allow for those seeking to be involved in any level of politics to gain experience. Below are the various internship opportunities we provide with their job descriptions associated with each.

The various internships will run for a 10-week period with the option to renew, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Scheduling, and time off is flexible. While unpaid, the internship offers full expense reimbursement with pre-approval through the campaign. Upon completion of the internship, you will receive a letter of recommendation, as well as any service hours and credit you may need.

Communications Intern:

            Position Overview: In this role the interns would work directly with the Communications Director and her team to help manage their communications program. Communication is an integral part of campaigns and requires constant effort to stay on the cutting edge in the world of politics.

Field Intern:

            Position Overview: This role is one of most important roles in the campaign. It represents our boots on the ground efforts and will often be the front facing contact for the campaign. Field interns are responsible for all factors of voter contact and are the holders of campaign materials. Field interns will be doing the most interacting with voters.

Finance Intern:

            Position Overview: In this role the finance intern will work with our finance team to help manage and maximize our donations and fundraising efforts. We are a statewide campaign so this position offers a lot of experience in helping to manage fundraising. Finance interns can expect to do a lot of assistance in events as well.

2024 Signature Drive Manager- Whatcom Democrats 

About the Campaign 

The Whatcom Democrats are seeking to qualify local ballot measures in coalition with other organizations. Measures will be focused on workers and tenants rights.

What Will You Do? 

The Signature Drive Campaign Manager will be responsible for qualifying local progressives measures for the ballot, and other tasks as assigned, under the supervision of the Campaign Chair.

Whatcom County is politically competitive, with some of the closest races in the state. The campaign will mobilize hundreds of volunteers to defeat anti-working family ballot measures, advance progressive local initiatives, and elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. We’ve earned a reputation for running the best local party campaigns in Washington State—join us!

What Will You Do? 

We’re seeking part-time interns. Spring, Summer, and Fall internships are available. This internship is for academic credit, with time commitments based on credit hours.
