Welcome to the Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Western Washington University offers programs of study that provide a solid foundation in the concepts and methods of psychology, as well as courses and programs for students in many of the more specialized areas of this large and exciting field.

We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees. Graduate programs are offered in three areas: experimental (with optional concentration in measurement, evaluation, and statistical analyses), mental health

The Department of Psychology also includes the Center for Cross-Cultural Research and the Western Institute for Social Research, and participates in an Interdisciplinary Behavioral Neuroscience program.

PsychFest will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016. PsychFest is a celebration of student research and scholarship and is sponsored by the Department of Psychology. Students present their research and scholarly activities as either a poster or talk.
