About
Anthony Nicolas Radoiu teaches undergraduate French language, literature, and culture courses at Western Washington University. He previously taught at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned a PhD in French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Maîtrise in French Language and Linguistics from the Université Paris-Sorbonne IV and a double B.A. in French and International Studies from Virginia Tech. He was also previously a language assistant with the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) in the Orléans-Tours region and with the Université Paris-Sorbonne IV. His research focuses on French poetry composed in prison during the middle ages and beyond, examining the relationship between confinement or marginalization and poetic creativity and production.
