CHSS Undergraduate Scholarship Application

This application is used for the 2021-2022 Alumni Association Leadership Scholarship and the CHSS Advancement Council Scholarships.

Application Requirements

  1. You must be formally declared in a major that is offered by a department or program within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS).
  2. Provide statements about your education goals, service activities, and significant accomplishments.
  3. Attach an essay (up to 1,500 words) that addresses the value of a public liberal arts education, the importance of developing multidisciplinary analytical skills, and discusses your commitment to community engagement.
  4. Attach unofficial copies of your WWU transcript.
  5. Arrange for letters of recommendation from two faculty members. Please copy the CHSS Scholarship Recommendation form link into an email and send it to the faculty who will be submitting your letters of recommendation.
