Application Requirements

  1. Applicants must be planning to engage in international study at an institution endorsed by their academic department and have a GPA of 3.3 or higher.

  2. Attach an essay (up to 1,500 words) that describes the university outside the United States where you plan to attend, how this will enhance your degree program, and why you think that you are a strong candidate for international study.

  3. Attach unofficial copies of your WWU transcript.

  4. Arrange for letters of recommendation from two faculty members. Please copy the CHSS Scholarship Recommendation form link into an email and send it to the faculty who will be submitting your letters of recommendation.
